About the Walker Model D

The Walker Model D is one of the Walker machines we stock. Walker is known for its collection and vacuum-style decks, which is why it turns up on properties where clippings need to leave the lawn rather than be scattered across it.

That design has trade-offs worth understanding before you buy. Collection gives a clean, finished look and handles leaves well, but it means more emptying and more attention to deck setup. If you mostly mulch, a different machine may suit you better.

For the Walker Model D, deck condition and the collection system are the two things to inspect on a used unit. We can walk through both and tell you honestly whether a machine is worth repairing.
